Two high end devices from Huawei gets leaked and they may come under the Ascend series. both these devices are expected to be officially announced at CES 2013 which is going to be held in January. The first one is an 5 inch phablet which may be announced as Ascend D2, will be coming with 5 inch 1920×1080 touchscreen display, 1.5 GHz quad core processor, 13 MP rear camera, 1.3 MP front camera, 2 GB RAM. 3000 mAh battery and will be running on Android OS v4.1 Jelly Bean. Already this was showcased (announced) in China but didn’t revealed it’s complete features. The leaked images of Ascend D2 is shown below.
The other one to join the phablet family at CES 2013 is Ascend Mate which will be sporting an big 6.1 inch Full HD touchscreen display. It may include features like a 1.8 GHz Quad core processor, 2 GB RAM, 13 MP camera and a huge 4,000 mAh battery. The leaked images of the 6.1 inch smartphone is shown below.
Both these phablets will take on other company’s phablets whereas the Ascend Mate will particularly take on the Samsung galaxy Note 2. Byond has already launched a 6 inch phablet named Phablet P 3 in India.
