BlackBerry Z10 announced – First to run on BB10 OS – Price details and availability

The RIM has re-branded itself as BlackBerry at the BlackBerry 10 event. Along with it, it announced it’s first full touch smartphone running on the new BB10 OS – BlackBerry Z10. It sports 4.2 inch 1,280 x 768 pixels resolution touchscreen display with 356 ppi and powered by 1.5 GHz dual core Snapdragon processor. This new smartphone also packs 2 GB RAM, 16 GB internal memory and microSD card slot which can hold up to 32 GB. It has an 8 MP rear camera with time shift, 2 MP front camera and packs 1800 mAh battery. Connectivity features like Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, NFC, microHDMI, microUSB, LTE supported and GPS.

This smartphone will be available from tomorrow through EE, O2, Vodafone, Phones 4U, BT, 3 UK and Carphone Warehouse. In Canada it will be available from February 5 for $149.99 on a 3 year contract. In UAE it will be available for AED 2,599 on February 10. Finally, US will be getting their’s in March. In US AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile to offer, Sprint in doubt.
