LG Optimus G hits Europe with Jelly Bean on board

LG Optimus G has gone official in Europe and will be hitting the streets from this month. Sweden will be the first one to receive this Optimus G which will be followed by other European countries like Germany, France and Italy. The European countries will be getting this device with Android OS v4.1.2 Jelly Bean out of box and with improved features which includes QSlide, Safety care, Privacy Keeper, Google Now, Filmstrip View and Expandable Notification. The existing Optimus G which runs on Android OS v4.0 gets Android OS v4.1.2 update. The Optimus G features 4.7 inch WXGA True HD IPS+ touchscreen display, 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Quad Core processor, 13 MP Camera, 2 GB RAM, 32 GB internal memory, Front camera, NFC, LTE and 2,100 mAh battery. India has been rumored to get this device in the coming weeks.

“Since the successful initial launch of Optimus G, LG has continued to improve the smartphone to offer better usability and value for our customers,” said Dr. Jong-seok Park, president and CEO of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company.
