At CES 2013, Samsung showed it’s flexible display and along with it, the company has also confirmed that it will be launching it’s 4.99 inch 1080p full HD display by the end of March. The source has spotted the evolution of Samsung’s display picture at Samsung booth in CES 2013 which is shown below. It shows from the 3.97 inch WVGA 230 ppi display to the yet to be announced 4.99 inch FHD 440 ppi display. We reported you earlier that the company may be launching S 4 on March 4 but Samsung Lebanon Facebook page confirmed that the device will not go official before May. So, we can expect Samsung to announce it’s new display on March 4 and Galaxy S 4 after the May.
The source also says that the new material used in AMOLED display will lead to 25% power saving. This display will be mostly for the next Galaxy S series phone – S 4. There is also an rumor that it will be coming with S Pen and featuring 2 GHz Quad core Exynos 5450 processor, 2 GB RAM, 13 MP rear camera, 2 MP front camera and Android OS v4.2.1.
